Q & A

Does insurance  cover the cost of teeth whitening procedures?

No. Dental insurance does not typically cover the cost of the teeth whitening procedures.

How white will my teeth get?

On average, most clients can see an improvement of five to eight shades whiter, but Individual results will depend on your current tooth shade, treatment time, and the composition of your teeth. Your end result will be a whiter, healthier smile. Everyone's teeth are different and will have a natural stopping point. We recommend a 60 minute session for optimal results and to remove multiple layers of staining.

How long will the whitening last?

This varies from person to person and depends on your diet and lifestyle. However, with proper maintenance and periodic touch-up treatments, you can keep your smile looking great for a lifetime.

How often can I get my teeth whitened?

It is safe to do once every 2 to 4 months

Does it hurt?

A very small percentage of clients may feel some tooth sensitivity, especially if they consume very cold/hot foods or drinks within two hours after the whitening session. Any sensitivity is short term and gone within 24-48 hours.

Can I get my teeth whitened if I have lip fillers?

Yes, you can get your teeth whitened before a lip filler appointment, but we advise to wait at least two weeks AFTER getting filler to get your teeth whitened.

How long does the treatment take?

Treatment times are 20 to 60 minutes depending on the discoloration of your teeth and how white you want them. It takes no longer than the time it would for you to have a haircut or a facial - it is that simple!

Am I a good candidate for teeth whitening?

The ideal candidate for teeth whitening is someone who is in good dental health, has general tooth discoloration and stains, understands the pros and cons of treatment and has realistic expectations of results. Teeth whitening helps remove stains on the surface of your teeth caused by drinking beverages such as tea, coffee, and red wine and eating food such as blueberries and beets. Using tobacco products and the aging process can also discolor teeth, but thankfully, teeth whitening can help restore the bright health of your smile.

Scientific research has shown that the active ingredients in the DaVinci Teeth Whitening Gels are safe and effective. Our whitening equipment is FDA approved and has been used throughout the dental and cosmetic community for years. What is the Aftercare?

Follow "The White Diet" for 24-48 hours after a teeth whitening treatment.

Simply put, avoid consuming anything that would stain a white T-shirt. Remember after a teeth whitening treatment, the pores of your enamel are open and this makes them extra vulnerable to any stains. Once the pores close, (usually 48 hours after) you can resume your normal habits.
